Voted one of the top 10 flea markets in Oregon by the website Fun Things To Do, the Expo Antique & Collectible Show in Portland draws a high attendance because of the many exhibitors who come from all over the country. This show doesn’t leave any group of people behind, having cool things for those who remembers G.I. Joe®, Star Trek® and Fisher Price® as well as the baby boomer who wants to connect to the things that were around when they were in their teens. You’ll also see traditional vintage items such as sterling flatware, smalls, rare books, advertising and the like as well as vintage clothing, decorative items and estate jewelry.
The first show at the Expo Center was held in 1981 and evolved into three shows per year. The original owner has since retired but still continues as an exhibitor at all three shows, selling vintage children’s books. The Portland Shows are the largest on the schedule and typically see customers from Japan, Canada and Germany as well as about every state in the U.S.
The Expo Antique & Collectible Show takes place on March 2nd and 3rd. Vendor set up takes place on Thursday, February 28th from 12pm to 6pm. Even though it is a very large show with nearly 1,000 booths, the event is constantly welcoming new exhibitors, so simply fill out the dealer form on their website at christinepalmer.net to attend.
