The Friendship Flea Market returns to Indiana September 8th – 16th, held twice a year, this market is one not to be missed. With over 500 vendor spaces and wide selections of fresh foods, Friendship Flea has something for everyone. This 51-year-old flea market is truly a landmark event for the entire town. Camping and affordable lodging are available, and there are even horse drawn trolley rides available to and from town.
The show always starts on Saturday of the second full weekend through the third full weekend of June and September. The market opens daily at 9 a.m. and the attendance swells to heavy on the weekend. During the week, it is easier to move around and browse the displays. Most vendors stay open until 7 p.m.
At the market, shoppers can expect to find furniture, knives, guns, antiques, jewelry, clothes, rugs, toys, tools, lots of leather and related items to the more primitive. Feel free to observe some of the patrons authentically dressed in buckskins, loincloths, and pioneer garb.
For vendors, spaces are $189 for 9 days or $30 per day plus tax. Affordable camping sites are also available. Visit slc2010.com/jflea to reserve your spot today.
