Walla Walla’s Vintage Market, Love of Junk, will be hosted on the Swenson Farm in Washington state. This cute and thrifty market started in June of 2013 on the farm and soon became number four on the top ten list of flea markets in the state of Washington. This family friendly farm has a beautiful view of the Blue Mountains that make for a lovely backdrop setting. There is a $5 fee for all adults and children under 12 are free.
You can find all different kinds of artifacts and collectibles at this market, such as up-cycled products, antiques, flowers, new and used home décor, apparel, and so much more. The Love of Junk Market has always landed on Father’s Day weekend, which works out well for everyone. Families can spend the day together on a beautiful farm while shopping for knick-knacks. It is a smoke free zone and pets are not allowed. They have some industrial vendors and are looking to add more mid-century vendors in the future.
The market also offers 20-30 camping spaces, with limited bathrooms and showers, available for vendors. You can bring your own camper or RV and reserve a spot, and for an extra fee there are also some electrical hookups in the camping area. There are plenty of parking spaces available, as well as grass-marked spots with shade from trees. Live music and refreshments are also offered at the Love of Junk Market event. You can buy food from the very best of the best and well-loved food vendors and enjoy the background music at their available picnic tables. This is a rain or shine event, so come prepared with umbrellas and tarps!
