The Osceola Flea and Farmers Market is running special deals for vendors this season to prolong the celebration of the New Year. Current specials include garage sale booths for used items, available for $5 per day, plus $1 per extra table. In addition, the market is offering a “welcome back” deal through which vendors may rent one booth for $240 and get a second booth for free for three months. Under normal conditions, vendor fees are $15 per day for a 10-foot by 10-foot booth, including attached parking space. One table is provided and fees must be paid in cash.
“The market has been open since 1996, when we refurbished it,” says Monique Cupolo, manager. “We have more than 900 booths under roof, including a restaurant and three snack bars. We also have concrete block stores available.” Regular vendors sell an array of new and used merchandise, fresh produce and Florida souvenirs, but Cupolo cites automotive items as some of the market’s best sellers. Stereos, headlights and window tints are among the most popular automotive merchandise. “Handmade Hispanic items are best sellers, too, such as custom-made domino tables,” she adds. “Pet supplies do well here, too. They never go out of fashion.”
The market is located at 2801 East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, FL 34744. We’re open come rain or come shine on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.”
