The sixth annual Randolph Street Holiday Market, in Chicago, IL, is slated for November 17 and 18 and December 15 and 16. Recommended by Chicago Magazine as a top pick for holiday shopping, the market yields a high volume of foot traffic each year. “I do shows from the west coast to the east coast, north to south, and there is no show like the Randolph Street Market,” says Loana Purrazzo, a regular participant from Santa Monica, CA. “It has quality merchandise, a fun atmosphere and clients who come to buy.” The market offers free parking and free gift wrapping for shoppers, and this year the market has added a Toys for Tots toy drive to help give back to children in need this holiday season. Held indoors at Plumbers Hall, 1340 West Washington Street, the hours of operation are Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Vendors at the Randolph Street Market may acquire display space for $75 to $350 per booth, depending on the amount of space required. Some vendors may be organized into specialty sections, which include the Do-It-Yourself Estate sale, the Vinyl Swap Meet, the Global Goods Bazaar and the Fancy Foods Market. Space is limited and in high demand, so interested vendors are asked to submit their information to firstname.lastname@example.org or by mail to City Markets, Inc. 47 W. Division, #187, Chicago, IL 60610.
