Bring your Mama to Shipshewana on “Mother – Daughter Day,” taking place Friday, August 16th! From 3pm to 8pm, mothers and daughters of all ages can shop the bargains from more than 700 unique vendors selling accessories, clothing, jewelry, footwear, health & beauty and so much more.
“Mother – Daughter Day” is a part of Shipshewana Trading Place’s new weekend markets. The flea market is open every Tuesday and Wednesday from May through September from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but two new weekend markets in both June and August have added Fridays to their schedule. The market is also open on Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.
Shipshewana Trading Place is home to the Midwest’s Largest Flea Market, Weekly Auctions, an Amish-inspired inn, and year-round events in Indiana’s Amish Country. Hosting more than 700 vendors each week, it’s the Midwest’s largest flea market.
Open rain or shine, “Mother – Daughter Day” will host special activities including a mother/daughter look-alike contest, a free photo booth and special door prize drawings. You don’t have to be a mother/daughter to attend this event, and guests can still shop from all the bargains as well as enjoy the delicious food.
There will be a print guide available at each gate when entering the flea market, or you can browse their online directory on their website at shipshewanatradingplace.com.
