Vermont’s original flea market is returning in May with new management. Fifty-six years since its original opening, the advanced Newfane Flea Market aims to infuse a wide array of new offerings into the landscape of the iconic market. The re-imagined flea with host vintage and antique resellers, local makers and crafters, farmers and food vendors, and a community Swap Shop.
Soon to be open for their 2022 season, Newfane Flea Market will return on May 29, Memorial Day Weekend, and run every Sunday from 9am – 2pm through October 30 in the original lot on Route 30. In its height, the flea was a hugely popular weekend event and a major destination for locals and tourists alike. Due to COVID-19, the market was postponed in 2020, and is finally reopening this year under new management.
The 2022 season will welcome a wide variety of vendors, and the market is currently looking for new vendors to apply. Any seller interested in participating can apply through the website at www.newfaneflea.com, or email newfaneflea@gmail.com. All handmade, farmers, and bakers must submit an application to be reviewed by the Newfane Flea Jury Committee to determine eligibility. Antique, vintage, and food vendors do not need to apply, but be sure to follow the market’s seller guidelines on their website.
