Mesa Market Place Swap Meet is the home of free community events, and they’ve got another exciting gathering for guests to check out. This Saturday, September 21st, Mesa Market will be hosting a Charity Car Show from 9am until 1pm.
This event will benefit the Arizona Humane Society, an organization that rescues, heals, adopts, and advocates for homeless, sick, injured and abused animals. 100 percent of the proceeds will be given to AHS, and there will also be opportunities for guests to donate directly to the society.
Attendees can view dozens of vintage, muscle, modified and stock cars and they will be able to vote for their favorite by stuffing the car’s ‘Ballot Box’ with money. There will also be an auction at noon to win a handmade ‘Tribute To The Road’ comforter as well as the ability to adopt a dog, face painting, balloon art, coloring and of course, tons of shopping.
If you thought there was already a lot going on at this fundraiser, there’s still more. Early birds arriving between 7am and 8am will be able to get a $2 breakfast with a coupon presented in person, consisting of two eggs, toast and hash browns. Guests arriving after 8am until 10:30am can get the same breakfast for $2.50. Both coupons can be found on Mesa Market’s website at mesamarket.com.
