Hardy Huntley, founder of the Wagon Wheel Flea Market in Pinellas Park, FL, died May 25th at the age of 77 at his home in Madeira Beach. In the nearly five decades since Huntley and his wife Janet founded the market, he almost never missed a day of work, reports the Tampa Bay Times. Even after the flea market grew to 1,500 stalls and his savvy real estate investments ensured he would retire a wealthy man, Huntley worked the concession stand, directed traffic and performed other jobs at the market. A new flea market, called Downtown Flea, will open in the historic core of Los Angeles, CA, July 28th.
