Wuerfel ParkIn honor of the 2015 baseball season, the Traverse City Beach Bums of Michigan will be offering a series of live concerts and a Farm and Flea Market on Saturdays, starting in June. The Beach Bums will launch a new “Baseball, Bands & Brews” series during seven Saturday home games. The performers will be on for 30 minutes when the gates open at 6pm during home games, and will return for the rest of the concert after the 7:05pm night game. In addition to the concert, the farm and flea market will take place every Saturday starting June 13. “We have been approached by hundreds of people over the years who have inquired about our parking lot space, and it is time to put it to good use,” said John Wuerfel, President. “We see the market as a great addition to Traverse City, and can bring people to the area from all directions every Saturday. We plan to make the market a true event.” The market will be open from 10am-3pm and admission is free. For more information on the Beach Bums visit www.traversecitybeachbums.com.
