star lite swap meet seattle WAStar Lite Swap Meet is the largest market in the Pacific Northwest. Located at the former drive-in theater in Lakewood, WA, the market boasts hundreds of vendors and up to 8,000 shoppers on weekends, according to the Seattle Times.

Vendors sell new merchandise, including dresses, belts, Seattle tourist tee-shirts and wrestling masks, as well as collectibles and Generation X memorabilia. Some of the area’s best Mexican street food is sold here, the Times reports, with vendors hawking beef-tongue tacos and fruit plates topped with whipped cream and chocolate.

The outdoor market is open Tuesdays through Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Indoor shops are open Tuesdays through Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Vendor spaces are around 8 feet by 10 feet. Rental fees for indoor spaces, which are available by the month only, begin at $235 per month Tuesday through Sunday, and $160 for weekends. Outdoor spaces are $15 each, Tuesday through Friday, and $21 per day on the weekends. Merchants are required to be in their booths and open during business hours. Additionally, vendors are required to have a Washington State Master Business License and a City of Lakewood Business License.
